Bacon Quiche
Serves: 4-6
  • 2 frozen piecrusts
  • 8 eggs
  • 3/4 cup Promised Land Whole Milk
  • bacon, cooked and chopped
  • Italian seasoning
  • garlic powder
  • 1.5 to 2 cups cheese, shredded
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped (optional)
  1. Preheat oven to 425.
  2. Cook bacon on stove. Let cool and chop into small pieces. Set aside to cool.
  3. Take piecrusts out of freezer to begin thawing.
  4. Using large bowl, beat eggs until yolks are stirred in.
  5. Add 3/4 cup Promised Land Dairy Heavy Whipping Cream, Vitamin D Whole Milk, or half and half mixed. Beat into eggs until color is uniform through out.
  6. Add seasonings and stir.
  7. Add 3/4 shredded cheese and bell pepper. Stir.
  8. Place bacon on bottom of piecrusts.
  9. Add egg mixture over bacon.
  10. Top with the remainder of the cheese.
  11. Adjust oven to 375. Place quiches on middle rack. Cook for 35 minutes. Remove after cooking and let cool before serving.
