Chocolate Pumpkin Pudding

  • 1 cup Promised Land Dairy Midnight Chocolate Milk
  • 1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree not pumpkin pie filling
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  1. Whisk all the ingredients together in a medium saucepan.
  2. Cook over medium heat, whisking continuously until thickened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Transfer to a small bowl and cover with plastic wrap, making sure the plastic is touching the surface of the pudding to prevent a skin from forming. Refrigerate until cold, about 30 minutes.
  4. Serve with whipped cream and chocolate shavings if desired.
