Is there a difference in milk products?
We believe there is!

At Promised Land Dairy it starts with the cows. At Promised Land Dairy the milking herd consists of only Jersey cows.  Jersey cows are very well known for their rich creamy tasting milk.  Jersey cows also naturally produce milk with higher calcium and protein content than the more commonly used Holstein cows.  We work closely with our farmers to ensure the herds stay healthy so the milk you drink is better tasting and better for you.

Promised Land milk comes from the Just Jersey Co-op. The cows in the Just Jersey Co-op herds are fed a balanced diet that includes free grazing 365 days per year.  We know healthy means delicious and healthy milk comes from healthy cows, and thus the cows are treated with the best practices that assure humane and ethical treatment of each and every animal.

The cows are also not injected with rBST hormones to increase their natural milk production. Although the FDA states that they find no significant difference in milk from cows that are injected and not injected, we choose not to use these artificial hormones.

We then use only the finest all natural ingredients in the development  of our outstanding flavors.  All our products are Kosher certified as another indication of our quality.

We bring this outstanding fresh and flavorful milk to you in bottles that maintain our high standards, do not give "off flavors" to our milk and are environmentally friendly and recyclable. We use only the highest quality PET, which is certified as BPA free.

We have been able to source our bottles and labels locally and thus kept products made in the USA a priority.  Buying locally also reduces the cost of transportation and keeps costs down for customers while reducing fuel consumption due to the light weight of the bottles.

Whole Milk has the rich creamy taste many of our customers enjoy. And, of course, since it is Promised Land Dairy milk from only Jersey cows, you also get more calcium and protein when compared to most other dairies’ milk. Egg Nog, hmmmm, are the Holidays here yet?
