All Jersey Co-op

If the cows in our herd could talk, one of the things they might say is, “California cows are welcome here.” Being friendly in the tradition of our state motto, “friendship”, our cows are also happy and healthy. Why wouldn’t they want to share their good fortune with their sisters in another state? Of course, they would have to be Jersey cows if they would want to be part of the herd being milked.
Why only Jersey cows, because they produce a richer tasting all-natural milk, higher in calcium and protein than milk from the black and white Holsteins.  When you consider the healthy environment, the all-natural diet for our cows and the rich taste, more calcium, more protein and no artificial rBST or rBGH, we know you will not find better tasting or better milk for you.

Promised Land Dairy’s growing numbers of customers have demanded a greater volume of milk than our own herd could produce. We were forced to find additional sources for our milk, but it couldn’t be just any milk. We needed milk that would meet the specifications that we require and our customers demand. In 2002 we began working with other Texas Jersey farmers to partner with us. Working together the Just Jersey Co-op was formed, the first single breed co-op in the United States. Today we continue to receive an abundant supply of fresh, all natural, rBST hormone free Jersey Cow milk. Just look for it on your grocer’s shelves; you will see a picture of our cows on the label just waiting for you to take a bottle home and pour yourself a glass full of the best milk on the planet.
